Renewable Connections, one of the UK’s leading solar and battery developers, has today passed the 1GW milestone of consented renewable energy projects in the UK. The latest project approval for the 90MW Summerway Drove Battery Energy Storage System in Somerset, is the company’s 24th project consent since it was established in 2020. The consent was confirmed by Somerset Council on the 10th February 2025.
